Hardware Connection
- Connect JD-XA’s MIDI OUT to your computer/MIDI interface MIDI IN; and JD-XA MIDI IN to interface MIDI OUT. Alternatively use USB-MIDI if supported.
- In editor app, set MIDI Input/Output to your interface.
- On JD-XA: System > MIDI > set Local Control/Channel and enable SysEx receive (if needed).
- Test by sending a single patch request or Bank Dump request from the editor; confirm editor receives data.
