1. Disable UAC (Temporarily): Go to Control Panel > User Accounts > Change User Account Control settings. Slide to "Never notify." Reboot required.

3. Disable Sleep/Hibernation: Run powercfg -h off in an admin command prompt.
4. Windows Updates: Set to "Notify to download" or pause updates for 7 days during installation.

Installation Path: Use default (C:\Program Files (x86)\AVEVA\Edge) unless company policy dictates otherwise.
