Prepare the SD Card

: Format a microSD card to FAT32. Copy the downloaded update folder or .bin files into the root directory of the card. Install the Update : Turn off the printer. Insert the microSD card. tronxy xy-2 pro firmware update

Preparation is Key

1. Copy the DWIN_SET folder to the SD card.
2. Insert it into the screen's SD card slot (usually on the back of the screen ribbon cable).
3. Power on. The screen will flash colors. Wait 2 minutes until it returns to the home screen.
4. Power off and remove the SD card.

This means the firmware didn't include the correct drivers for your specific LCD controller. You will need to revert to your previous firmware (if you backed it up) or find a different build that supports the Tronxy display driver. Copy the DWIN_SET folder to the SD card

Most "helpful" reviews suggest ditching the official Tronxy firmware entirely in favor of community-compiled Marlin 2.0
