With the TV on, insert the USB drive.
A pop-up might automatically appear asking to upgrade.
If no pop-up appears, go to Settings > System Update > USB Update.
Confirm the installation. The TV will reboot and show a progress bar (often a green robot for Android TVs). Do not touch the power button.

Confirm TV boots normally and functionality (apps, tuners, picture/sound) is restored.
Check Settings > About/System Information for the updated firmware version.
Test key features previously problematic to ensure fixes applied.

If the website asks for your credit card to download firmware, it is a scam.
