The Kundalini Awakening

Kundalini awakening — concise practical guide

Short practice to ground and open gently (5–10 minutes)

  • Response: stop intense practices, practice grounding (cold shower, walking, nutrition), contact your teacher and a mental-health professional. If danger to self/others, seek emergency help.

Stage 4: Integration (The Sahaja State)

Emotional Upheaval:

Sudden bursts of joy, grief, or anxiety as old emotional blockages are "burned away" by the rising energy.

  • Sushumna (The Central Channel): The path through which Kundalini rises. It runs from the perineum to the crown of the head. It is usually "blocked" by psychic debris.
  • Ida and Pingala (The Flanking Channels): Ida (the left, lunar, cooling channel) represents the parasympathetic nervous system and the mental/emotional past. Pingala (the right, solar, heating channel) represents the sympathetic nervous system and physical action/future.

While individual experiences vary, the process is generally categorized into three to seven progressive stages: the kundalini awakening
