This is a known kernel bug. Use a rotation control app from the Play Store (free) to manually lock orientation.

: This is based on Android 10 . While there isn't a widely "official" LineageOS build for the SM-T285, independent developers on XDA Developers have historically worked on unofficial ports for this specific hardware (codename gtexslte ).
