While there isn't a traditional "long-form" news article about the , there are several detailed project pages and community threads that cover its development, features, and how to use it. These shimejis (Japanese "desktop pets") allow the character Ralsei from Deltarune to wander around your computer screen, climb windows, and interact with your desktop. Download any existing Shimeji (non-Ralsei) base from GitHub.
Open the img folder. You will see subfolders like 1_left, 1_right, 2_dangle, etc.
Replace each sprite frame with your own Ralsei drawing (keep the exact same dimensions and file names).
Save and run. You’ve just created a custom Shimeji Ralsei.

Do not download Shimeji files from random "free software" aggregate sites. Many of these contain adware. Stick to community hubs.
