Step 4: Enter Download Mode
“Locked.”
- Turn on the WS 6906 using the side power switch.
- Wait for the home screen to fully load.
- Insert the prepared USB drive into the mini-USB port (or full-size USB-A, depending on your model). Use an OTG adapter if necessary.
- Press Menu on the keypad.
- Navigate to System Settings (usually the last icon).
- Select Software Update or USB Upgrade.
