Patch highlights
Prison Architect 1.02 -35409- with its associated DLCs offers the most complete and stable version of the game to date. It is a testament to the depth of the simulation, providing endless hours of strategic planning, crisis management, and occasional chaos. Whether you are building a reform-focused paradise or a brutal fortress, this version provides the tools you need to succeed. Prison Architect 1.02 -35409- DLC
- The DLC is Skinny: Calling “All Day and A Night” a DLC is generous. It’s really a feature pack. You get dogs, a punishment screen, and a few new objects. For the price asked at the time, it felt like a patch you had to pay for. If you’re playing version 1.02 without it, you aren’t missing a revolutionary experience.
- AI Pathfinding Quirks: In this specific build, prisoners still take the dumbest possible route to the yard. You can have a beautiful, efficient prison, but inmates will walk through the max sec wing just to use a phone near the morgue. This build doesn’t fix that.
- Escape Mode Balance: It’s fun, but it’s also easy to cheese. In build -35409, you can still dig a tunnel under a fence in about 2 in-game hours. Once you learn the exploit (steal a fork, find a soft exterior wall), you can escape most prisons in under 10 minutes.
