- A computer with a compatible operating system (Windows, macOS, or Linux).
- A Pokémon Alpha Sapphire ROM (you can obtain this from various online sources, but be aware that downloading ROMs may infringe on copyright laws).
- A randomizer tool (we'll be using PokéRandomizer).
- Obtain a clean, legally dumped copy of Pokemon Alpha Sapphire (user must dump from their own cartridge or other legally permitted source).
- Download the appropriate randomizer tool that supports Alpha Sapphire / ORAS (e.g., current PokeRando ZX / compatible randomizer release).
- Launch randomizer and choose options/preset (seed, what parts to randomize, difficulty).
