Error 2: Installation stops at “Configuring Microsoft Office 2010…” and rolls back

This is the #1 cause of installation failure. The error message usually says: "The language pack cannot be installed because it is not compatible with the version of Office you have installed."

  • Restart all Office applications

    1. Open Microsoft Office 2010: Open any Microsoft Office 2010 application, such as Word or Excel.
    2. Go to File > Options: Click on the "File" menu and select "Options".
    3. Select Language: In the Options window, click on the "Language" button.
    4. Select Arabic as the display language: In the Language window, select "Arabic" as the display language and click "OK".
