- Battery Feed: Use a 4 AWG cable from your battery directly to the MASTERCELL's "Batt In" post. The new V229 includes a built-in 200A Anderson-style fuse holder—use it.
- Output Wiring: Color-code your output wires. For headlights (high draw), use 14 AWG TXL wire. For signals (low draw), 18 AWG is fine.
- The "Best" Crimp: Do not use cheap auto parts store crimpers. Use a ratcheting crimper with a double-crimp die (insulation and conductor). The V229 new terminals are sensitive to cold solder joints—no soldering allowed. Only crimp.
