1. Gasket Check: If your model uses a rubber gasket (GEA) that sits between the door and the frame, ensure it is seated correctly in the channel and not twisted.
2. Final Seal: If the installation is in a wet area (shower), run a thin bead of clear silicone around the outer perimeter of the frame where it meets the tile to prevent water ingress behind the wall.

• Power off the panel.
• Press and hold the upper-left corner of the touchscreen (or F2 key if a keyboard is attached) while applying power.
• Set boot order: USB drive first, then eMMC/SSD.

• ⚠️ Only use firmware supplied by GEA – generic Windows CE/Embedded images will brick the panel.
• ⚠️ Do not power off during firmware update – leads to unrecoverable bootloader corruption (requires return to GEA).
• ⚠️ Manual installation voids warranty if housing is opened – contact GEA service for in-warranty panels.
