5 100 Save Game Fix | Forza Horizon
Forza Horizon 5 100% Save Game Fix: A Comprehensive Guide
- Navigate to your Forza Horizon 5 save folder. The default location is usually:
C:\Users\[YourUsername]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.SunriseBaseGame_8wekyb3d8bbwe\SystemAppData\wgs
(Note: If you are on Steam, check C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\[YourID]\1551360\remote).
- Right-click the folder (named
wgs for Microsoft Store versions).
- Select Properties from the context menu.
- Click on the Previous Versions tab.
- If you see a list of previous versions (e.g., "Folder from [Date]"), select the one from before you experienced the issue.
- Click Restore. This will roll back the folder to a state where your 100% save existed.
- Launch game offline.
- If it works, exit, go online, and let it sync → choose “Local save” when conflict appears.
Place the modified save file into your original save folder, replacing the old one, and launch the game. Troubleshooting "Too Many Saves" (Error 100)

- Anti-tamper detection – The game checks for signature validity. If altered, it refuses to load.
- Corrupted local cache – Even legitimate saves can break due to a sudden crash or power loss.
