First-run Configuration
- Verify: Check the file size. A full FCP installer is typically 4.5GB to 5.5GB. If it is 40MB, it is a fake.
- Mount: Double-click the
FinalCutPro10812.dmg.
- Drag: A window appears with the FCP icon and a shortcut to the
Applications folder. Drag the FCP icon into the Applications folder.
- Eject: Right-click the mounted disk image on your desktop and select "Eject."
- Delete: You can now delete the original
.dmg to save space.
