To reset the waste ink counter using the Adjustment Program (AdjProg), follow these steps.

Click the "Check" tab, then "Get Status." If the printer is properly in service mode, you will see a data sheet appear showing your total page count and the current waste ink percentage (usually 100% or 200% if locked). - Always physically inspect your actual waste ink pads. If they are literally dripping wet, resetting the counter will cause ink to leak onto your desk and motherboard.
- Use a USB cable, not Wi-Fi, to run the program. A network interruption during a reset can corrupt the printer's firmware.
