First, a quick reminder. Dragon Ball Kai is the 2009 recut of Dragon Ball Z , created for the 20th anniversary of the series. Toei Animation removed most of the filler episodes ( goodbye, Fake Namek and Snake Way detours!), re-recorded the dialogue with the original Japanese cast, and remastered the footage in HD.
