Danfoss Vlt Error Code 2563

While "2563" is not a standard system-wide alarm code found in most Danfoss VLT manuals (which typically use 1–255), it is frequently associated with specific firmware-driven application errors P2563 OBD-II generic codes if used in automotive-adjacent contexts.

  1. Always use an external 24V UPS for the control card (terminals 12/13). This keeps the memory stable during mains dips.
  2. Save parameters regularly using MCT 10 or parameter 15-03 (copies to LCP).
  3. Install line reactors on the input side to reduce harmonics and noise.
  4. Monitor internal temperature (parameter 16-52). Keep below 45°C for control card longevity.
  5. Replace drives every 8–10 years in harsh environments (even if no fault appears) due to electrolytic capacitor aging.

: If the "Position Error Tolerance" (parameter group 37-**) is set too tightly, even minor deviations will trip the alarm. Encoder Issues Danfoss Vlt Error Code 2563

  1. Noise on the control card: Electrical noise or interference on the control card can cause measurement errors, leading to error code 2563.
  2. Faulty control card: A malfunctioning control card can cause measurement errors and trigger error code 2563.
  3. Incorrect parameterization: Incorrect settings or parameterization of the drive can lead to measurement errors.
  4. Hardware issues: Hardware problems, such as faulty sensors or wiring issues, can cause measurement errors.
  5. Firmware issues: Firmware problems or outdated firmware can also contribute to error code 2563.
  1. Remove the suspicious control card.
  2. Install it onto the known-good power card.
