Core Functionality
- SketchUp 2017–2025 (Windows & Mac) – works with both.
- Requires LibFredo6 (latest version) – installed automatically via SketchUcation or Fredo6’s own installer.
- Recommended: Get from SketchUcation Plugin Store or Fredo6’s official page to ensure updates.
- Do not wait for Curviloft 2.0. The current 1.8x line (with recent patches) is stable on Windows 11, macOS Sonoma/Sequoia, and all SketchUp versions back to 2017.
- Paid vs Free: Curviloft remains FREE (donation-ware). The updates are free.
- Recommended companions: Curviloft + Joint Push Pull + Fredo6 Tools + Vertex Tools = The ultimate organic modeler’s stack.
- Install via SketchUp Extension Manager or place the RBZ file in the Plugins/Extensions folder depending on your SketchUp version.
- Keep Ruby and SketchUp updated to the versions compatible with the latest Curviloft release.
- Reboot SketchUp after installation; check the Extensions menu or toolbar for Curviloft commands.
