For many Filipinos who grew up in the late 90s and early 2000s, Cooking Master Boy (known in Japan as Chūka Ichiban! ) is a core childhood memory. The search for a "fixed" version usually means you are looking for episodes with clear audio, complete episodes (rather than clips), and subtitles that actually match the Tagalog dialogue.

  1. Open MKVToolNix.
  2. Add the Japanese video file.
  3. Add the Tagalog audio file.
  4. Uncheck the Japanese audio track so only the Tagalog track is selected.
  5. Click "Start Multiplexing".
  6. This creates a new file with perfect video quality and the Tagalog dub permanently attached.
  • The Tagalog audio is often harder to find as a standalone file.
  • Search on Facebook Groups dedicated to "Pinoy Anime Trading" or "Old School Anime PH".
  • Many collectors in these groups have .mp3 or .m4a files of the Tagalog dub ripped from TV.
