The on Switch is an impressive port, but RTS controls are challenging without mouse/kB. If you own the game legally, dumping your own NSP for emulation gives the best experience (higher resolution, keyboard, save states).

NSP
For those unfamiliar, an (Nintendo Submission Package) is the digital distribution format for the Switch eShop. When you buy a game from Nintendo, you download an NSP. "Base Game Roms" refers to dumped copies of these files, stripped of encryption.
Developer/Publisher:
Original by Relic Entertainment; Switch version by Feral Interactive.
- Feral Interactive ported CoH 1 to iPad (2020) and Android (2021). They have a strong relationship with Nintendo? They also ported Alien: Isolation to Switch. Possibility: Medium.
- Relic Entertainment is now independent after Sega sold them. They are focused on CoH 3 console ports (PS5/Xbox) but not Switch due to CPU constraints.
- NVIDIA Shield had a native port. The Shield uses the exact same Tegra X1 chip. Theoretically, Nintendo could license that code. But Nintendo rarely allows mature RTS games on its store (few exceptions like Civilization VI).

- A fake (empty file or virus).
- A renamed APK that won’t run under Horizon OS (Switch’s native OS).
- A Linux-based homebrew that requires wiping your Switch’s firmware.
