Open hShop.
Find a large game (e.g., Pokémon Ultra Sun – 3.2GB).
Tap the download icon and select "Repack (Background/Sleep Mode)".
When the prompt appears, press "Install Now".
Wait for the initial repack payload to install (10 seconds).
Now close your 3DS lid.
Wait 10 minutes. Open the lid.
Check your home menu. The game icon should be glowing or the Download Management app will show progress.
