The IMEI is a unique 15-digit serial number assigned to a mobile device. It's used to identify a phone on a cellular network, and it's essential for making calls, sending texts, and accessing mobile data. If the IMEI is damaged or corrupted, the device may not be able to connect to the network, rendering it unusable.

  1. Download SN Write Tool (version for your Android version).
  2. Run SN_Write_tool_exe.
  3. Select USB as port type.
  4. Choose Smart Phone → IMEI checkboxes (IMEI1, maybe IMEI2 for dual SIM).
  5. Enter the original IMEI numbers.
  6. Click Start → Connect powered-off C7100 via USB.
  7. Tool will detect the phone in META mode and write IMEI.
  8. Success message appears → Reboot device.
  • Always back up the NVRAM. Using SP Flash Tool, read back the nvram partition and save it as nvram.bin. Keep this file on your PC and cloud.
  • Never use "Format All + Download." Use "Firmware Upgrade" or "Download Only."
  • Remove your modem in custom ROMs. When installing a new ROM, wipe Dalvik/ART, Cache, System, and Data – but never wipe NVRAM in TWRP.
  • Keep a copy of your IMEI numbers in a text file on Google Drive.
