- Original CD-ROM or DVD purchased with a license key.
- Digital backup from Autodesk’s old subscription portal (no longer accessible).
Because it is "legacy" software, official support has ended, but some archives remain: Original CD-ROM or DVD purchased with a license key
- Run the installer in Windows 7 Compatibility Mode.
- Disable UAC temporarily (User Account Control blocks legacy registry writes).
- Install to
C:\LegacyApps\(not Program Files) to avoid permission errors. - Patch the SYSWOW registry if the symbol library fails to load (search for "AutoSketch 10 regfix").
